Verbs — a poem

--

Literal description of intangible emotion.
Impossible task,
‘Imperative construction’.

To engineer, how I see you
In words and punctuation.
How?

When I visualise your face
In colours and symbols
And waves and sounds
Synthesis colossus,
Of cerulean blues.

Reliance on how I see me, you see you.
Trust that in the black and white
Early century television of my vision
We curate some semblance of
Pictorial definition.

For your modernist perception
To alter into jut-lined clarity
And see you, through me
When you already do.

Conjoined, soul-twin. Mine.
How you read me, I read you.
