Goddess Untamed — a poem

--

I suck the ground through
Curled toes,
Dug deep into
Grass shoot carpet.

Milk-thigh, rocket.

My armour is cloud,
Earrings of lightening,
Carbon fettered
Cracking
At my open mouth.

I’ll devour, scream
Speak, whisper.
And kiss and lick the
Darkest folds in your mind.

You’re mine now.

I am the weather,
Sun, sea and sky.

I laugh when you cry,
Hurt when you die.
A droplet of sweat
on a Titan’s knee.

Bow down to me.
Know me by my name,
Goddess Untamed.
